Behold... The CLK GTR and Porsche 911 GT1, plated and driven on the road. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! Homologation specials, if you will, to allow Porsche and Mercedes to enter the vehicles into Production Car classes @ Le Mans back in the day. The boys @ Dodge built one of the Viper, as well...

What about the Italians, you say ? Sure, there was a DeTomaso in attendance.

Not to be out done... The English chaps were represented as well....

Either the dealer principle owned them, or the dealer lent the owner(s) some plates to drive them to the show.

No one in the crowd stood out as an owner next to these cars, and I didn't hang around long (it was raining) to find out...

Wow, wish this happened when I lived in Eustis. The CLK-GTR has always been one of my favorite cars, tendency to fly or not.

heh, the Porsche GT has the same lights as my 996. The lights that the ersatz Porschephiles bitched about.
